Little Hearts Charity
Helping Orphaned Kids the World Over!
Little Hearts Foundation was originally founded by Littlepage & Booth law firm, in 1999 after the firm settled one of its largest Fen/Phen cases. Part of that settlement fund was used to initially set up this non-profit organization which assists orphaned children around the world. Ever since, each settlement that the law firm negogiates has a portion that is distributed to the Little Hearts Foundation.
In July 2000, Little Hearts partnered with a local Houston Montessori school to help raise money for the charity. Members of Little Hearts worked with the students to organize a musical and dance program to help better educate the students and the audience about other cultures. The show was a "Broadway hit"!
Little Hearts has provided orphaned and abandoned children in the West Indies with school supplies, bedding and clothes. The foundation plans to assist orphanages in India, Vietnam, Israel, South America and Africa in the near future.
